Meet the Team
Hi there,
I am Billy, the founder of Earth Real Estate. I have been running this business for 20 years,
People often ask me how Earth Real Estate came to be and why I chose that particular name.
Truth be told, the business was born out of the basic yet vital need we all share on this earth; the need for a place to live.
Growing up in the Bay Area I was grateful to experience the security and peace a home provides. I witnessed firsthand how the stability and comfort of a well maintained home impacted the whole person.
As a young adult I learnt the value of hard work, the pride of ownership and the responsibility that came with owning a home. I knew I wanted to contribute to helping people find a home, maintain it and give property owners the peace of mind that their property as well as the tenants’ residence are well taken care of. I saw it as a beautiful cycle where I could serve two sides, property owner and tenant, ultimately acting as an intermediary and problem solver.
In the first years, we primarily focused on residential sales. As we grew over time, our clients had a greater need for tenant placement. We quickly embraced this naturally given opportunity.
One day, an owner asked us to collect rent while he was out of town. I remember walking out of the apartment on a Friday night with a backpack full of money and thought there must be a better way to safely and reliably transfer money from tenant to owner. That’s when we started to pursue transformation and (continuous improvements). *We saw our calling to embrace a full service property management business where the right systems are in place, modern technology embraced and human interaction valued. Our diligent work towards a high-standard service led to increased satisfaction and referrals which make up the majority of our clients.
We are continuously improving, never sacrificing our values and belief that relationships stand above all. Over time we honed a process to build a simple and straightforward property management business where we help owners build a financial legacy for their family and help tenants to be able to live in a safe, well maintained home.
It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey which we have so many people to thank for. Most of all, we fell a deep sense of responsibility and privilege to serve the owner and tenant so they not only live but thrive.

Meet Our Team
At 18, Billy began his real estate career and was the youngest broker in the Bay Area by 2009. Born and raised in SF, Billy has gained intimate knowledge of the Bay Area’s rapid transformation and lifestyle. He offers a comprehensive, in-depth perspective into current trends and the local market. He instantly felt connected to the real estate industry as he discovered the enormous impact real estate has on our lives. As a broker, Billy is passionate about building lasting relationships with his clients and connecting them to their life goals in real estate. It proves to be the reason to his underlying success. Billy garners sellers top dollar for their properties and saves buyers thousands of dollar on their purchase through skillful negotiation.
In addition, Billy is chief housing officer of Affordable Housing Ventures, and part of the Steering Committee of Connect Silicon Valley. He currently leads TechTalks in SF which are gatherings featuring industry experts with inspiring stories of faith in tech.
When Billy is not serving his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is passionate about surfing, health, gardening and growing his own food. Billy relishes the opportunity to partner with like-minded people to bring positive change to his environment.
Bruce Bean specializes in investment sales, commercial real estate leasing and property management with 30 years experience.
His architectural background enables him to better understand appropriate selling, purchasing and leasing opportunities for the building owners and users. His in-depth analysis of space needs and requisite improvements streamlines lease negotiations and results in significant savings to the landlord and tenants. As the principal of the Trafton Group, founded 1996, he offers rich knowledge and background in commercial real estate sales.
He is deeply committed and connected to affordable housing organizations such as HIP Housing. From 2006 to 2017, he was president of the board trustees and the board for the HIP Housing Development Corporation, and is the CEO of AHV, Affordable Housing Ventures.
Bruce Bean’s involvement in community service throughout the world is seen in his genuine commitment to the San Mateo Rotary Club. From 2018-2019, he was president of the Rotary Club which is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
